In response to the burgeoning growth of the digital camera market, several manufacturers of digital cameras and related products have introduced new printers that incorporate camera memory-card readers. and other convenience and enhancement features. This makes them ideal companions for digital cameras.
Some of these new printers can even be operated as standalone, computer-independent printers, able to print image directly from the camera's memory card. When connected to a computer, some of these printers can also be used as pass trough card reader, to transfer image to the computer for image manipulation and processing. And of course they can also be utilized as general-purpose printers for text, envelopes, banners, card, t-shirt transfers and myriad other uses.
