THE RICE TERRACES

Remembering the days when I was in Baguio,It was cold breezy that night when we where at the fire place talking where will be our next tour, our next tour probably is one of the eight wonders of the world. The RICE TERRACES located at high altitude the main inhabitants of Ifugaos. Ancestors built the mighty rice terraces that still cover so many of the mountainsides in the area around Banaue. On such steep hillsides often the only way to get around, for instance to reach urban, is to follow paths that have been made along the edges of the rice terraces.
