THE HUNGING COFFINS

The enchanted mountain in the cordillera region at an altitude of 1400 meters is one of the most beautiful and visited place. It's refreshingly cool climate makes for a wonderful break from the sticky heat of the lowlands.
Looking back at the past, burial coffins belonging to the Igorots were hung on a prominent cliff face. Many of the more accessible coffins are quiet recent. This is also where Sagada is known for. It is indeed a fascinating experience going into this place.
